Mouse died. I think it was Luke’s mouse so we planted/buried it on the side yard one day and Cassie wrote a note and we buried that too. It was sweet. I’m glad the rodents are gone however. We’ve had mice and hamsters. Messy little guys/gals, and they smell bad too. However, they would purr nicely when you petted them, and the kids loved them. I’m going to guess 2005

Cassie hosing Emily in our front yard. Frightful waste of water and I feel badly about that….not really. Anyway, it was fun and 10 years later, I realize my lawn doesn’t look better. It’s that darn crab-grass that invades from either side and that killed my nice blue-grass. I think I’d like to go bromantic garden like our neighbors across the street did. I could do raised planters and grow my tomatoes and peppers out front, instead of the side yard which doesn’t get enough sun. Maybe plant a couple of fruit trees too. I think this was 2001, maybe summer?

Me and my girls before Emily’s school starts. This was around Fall 2003 I think, but not quite sure.

Kevin playing water polo. He was the goalie for the first couple of years, then played the field. He and his brother love the game and their cousin Dane played on the team too. They made a bunch of great friends on the team, and I’m going to miss going to the water polo games after Luke’s last season which is starting now. It’ll be our 6th year in water polo. The girls aren’t in to it, they do soccer, tennis, and Marching band, so there’s plenty to do there. October 2009

Emmy and Cassie with some of their Utard cousins all trying to get on the tube at the same time. This was at Sand Hollow park in Hurricane UT, or as we call it, the Mud Puddle! It’s incredible scenery with the mountains and the high desert. I really like the open spaces, but it’s freezing cold in the winter and scorching hot from May to October, so I don’t think I’ll be moving there. It was a fun day. September 2009

One of my favorite pictures of my mom (Grandma Sally to her many, many grandkids). This is her high school graduation picture. What a southern belle! I think the picture is around 1955 or so.

I-40 on the way to the river. Got a flat and I don’t know what was harder, changing the tire, or the yard-apes making fun of me while doing it. We took Jay and Nolan with us to the river this trip. Cyndi tows the wave runner with her car (black jeep behind us) and I tow the boat with mine. Very segregated - boys car, girls car, boys room at the hotel, girls room. It’s actually a pretty good deal because when somebody gets sun-blasted and baked at the river, they can take one of the cars and head back to the hotel and the rest can stay longer in the water. I’m a foodie and think about eating, read about it, search for new places and things to eat, etc. When I see something that impresses me, then I gotta save an image for posterity. This was an awesome mango-strawberry lemonade concoction, and I had my new Canon EOS40, so I snapped a shot. I believe I was on a motorcycle ride along the coast. Just me and my still pretty new FJR1300 having some quality time. Cambria CA. Summer 2008
